About the position
Irisity is now looking for a Sales Engineer LATAM to join our sales team in the region. The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' components, functions, and processes, as well as assisting in closing sales where technical expertise is necessary to meet clients' needs.
To succeed as a sales engineer, you should have an in-depth understanding of our company's products and services from both technical and operational perspectives. Additionally, you should be capable of communicating this knowledge in a manner that is easily understandable to non-technical customers.
Job tasks
- Presenting products to end users, system integrators, and customers.
- Conducting demonstrations and assisting with trials and demo deployments.
- Assisting customers and system integrators with site design and sizing for quoting and implementations.
- Supporting System Integrators in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other requirements from end users and customers.
- Meeting with end users, customers, and system integrators to develop projects and address technical requirements.
- Assisting in localizing documentation as needed for tenders, RFIs, or RFPs.
- Supporting the sales organization, both locally and globally, in achieving goals and objectives.
Professional Requirements
- Experience in Video Surveillance Systems concepts, including Field of View (FoV), Frame Rate, Bandwidth, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), detection, and recognition ranges.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring and setting up cameras, with proficiency in specific vendors and platforms.
- Hands-on experience in the design, installation, and deployment of Video Management Systems (VMS), with knowledge of various VMS brands and platforms.
- Basic knowledge in Networking, with preference given to candidates with CCNA certification.
- Fundamental understanding of Server deployment and configuration.
- Basic proficiency with Linux Operating Systems.
- Basic knowledge of Virtualization, particularly with Hyper-V and VMware platforms. VCA certification or similar is desirable.
- Intermediate proficiency in office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Language Skills
Irisity is an international company, and corporate language is English.
- High level of proficiency in English is mandatory
- Native or native-level speaker of Spanish
- Proficiency in Portuguese is optional, but highly desirable

Location
This is fully remote position, the candidate must, however, be located in one of the following countries: Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, or Brazil.
The primary area of influence will be Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil.
The candidate must be available for travel within Latin America and the Caribbean.
